How the folding weighted hula hoop works

The function of the ONE Fitness OHA01 hoop is very simple. The construction consists of 24 identical parts that fit into each other. To close the hoop, you must use at least 14 parts, which then create a circle with an inner diameter of 16 cm; if you connect all 24 parts, the inner diameter will be 33 cm. The OHA01 model is suitable for waist circumferences from 50 to 104 centimeters. The individual parts are enclosed by a rail into which an anchor equipped with four ball bearings is inserted before closing. A weight of 320 grams is attached to the anchor using a cord.

Warm-up preparation

The length of the hoop is adjusted according to the waist circumference so that it is loose enough but at the same time does not fall over the hips. After setting the length, the hoop is secured in place using a fastening equipped with a lever for operating the lock. Then the weight is "thrown" in the direction in which we will rotate our hips, and we start the training. The OHA01 hoop is equipped on the inside with massage bumps with springs that dampen vibrations from the moving anchor while pleasantly massaging the waist area. The intensity of the training is affected by the speed at which we rotate our hips.

Burning calories and strengthening the core

By regularly using the ONE Fitness OHA01 trainer, you can slim the abdomen and waist; hip twisting reduces the fatty tissue of the thighs and buttocks. The rhythmic movement engages the deep abdominal muscles and pelvic floor muscles in exercise.
