How the folding weighted hula hoop works

The function of the HMS HHW06 hoop is very simple. The structure consists of 16 identical sections that fit together using connectors. At least 12 sections must be used to close the hoop, which then form a circle with an inner diameter of 24 cm; if you connect all 16 sections, the inner diameter will be 34 cm. The HHW06 model is suitable for waist circumferences from 76 to 111 centimeters. The individual sections are closed by a rail into which, before closing, an anchor with a counter is inserted, fitted with four ball bearings. The counter display shows the number of times the anchor circles the hoop. A weight of 400 grams is attached to the anchor by a length-adjustable cord. The cord length can be adjusted from 20 to 38 cm, and changing the cord length adjusts the resulting centrifugal force of the weight - the longer the cord, the "heavier" the weight will be.

Warm-up preparation

The hoop length is adjusted according to your waist circumference so that it is loose enough but does not fall over your hips. After adjusting the length, the hoop is secured in place with a fastener equipped with a lock control lever. Then the weight is "thrown" in the direction in which you will twist your hips, and you start exercising. The HHW06 hoop is fitted on the inside with spring-loaded massage studs that dampen the vibrations from the moving anchor while pleasantly massaging the waist area. The intensity of the training is affected by the cord length and the speed at which you twist your hips.

Regular use of the HMS HHW06 can slim the belly and waist, and hip twisting reduces fat tissue on the thighs and glutes. The rhythmic movement engages the deep abdominal muscles and the pelvic floor muscles.
