The UpForm UR-U001 Leg Press is a robust device intended for training and strengthening the thigh and gluteal muscles.
The basis of the construction is strong oval profiles of 125 x 60 mm with a 3 mm wall, which guarantee the firmness and durability of the whole construction.
The main element of the UpForm UR-U001 leg press is the mobile loading platform. The huge, 3 millimeter wide steel plate is equipped with an aluminum board with rubber bumps that eliminate shoe slipping. The rubberized handle makes it easier to sit down on the bench. The weights are loaded onto steel sleeves fitted with polyamide covers finished with a thick rubber collar. The covers protect both the plates and the machine's construction from possible scratching. The loading sleeves are designed for Olympic discs with a hole diameter of 50 millimeters. The platform moves using 6 polyamide rollers with a total of 12 ball bearings. The polyamide rollers are hard and very strong, which guarantees smooth and very quiet platform movement. The lower platform stop is adjustable in 4 levels and is set using a rubberized handle on the central frame of the construction; the bars on the sides of the construction serve to lock the platform in 2 positions and are used for comfortable seating in the working position as well as for leaving the rack.
The adjustable backrest allows setting to 1 of 3 positions for the ideal working position. The seat is fixed.
The upholstery has a cover made of a durable material, which gives the bench a unique look.
