The HMS Premium H5815 elliptical trainer falls into the Semi Commercial category and can therefore be used both in a home gym and in private clubs and hotel gyms. The biggest advantage of the model is the resistance system, which combines a classic magnetic brake with the wind resistance known from the Air bike. The combination of magnetic and linear resistance, together with the 8-kilogram flywheel, ensures smooth movement that is not possible with a regular trainer.
The load is generated by a paddle wheel, which resembles a fan; its blades are perpendicular to the direction of movement and, during rotation, air resistance is used. The load is directly proportional to the paddle wheel's rotation speed; put simply - the faster you pedal, the greater the load.
The magnetic brake is essentially a strong magnet, which, using an electric motor, changes its distance from the load wheel, thus changing the load. The magnetic brake regulation has 24 positions and is automatically regulated by the computer depending on the course of individual programs.
The combination of both systems allows completely precise adaptation of the load to current needs or requirements.
The H5815 trainer is fitted with a modern computer with a clear LCD display, which shows all data on one panel without needing to switch between them. The individual fields show revolutions per minute, training time, heart rate (when changing the load, its value), distance, calories burned, power and speed. The display in the middle shows the progress of the currently selected program.
On the keypad there are buttons for the Recovery program, Reset or return to the main menu, mode selection, browsing individual programs, a body fat measurement program, a pair of buttons for changing the load and a button for starting or pausing the training.
On the console we also find a mobile phone holder.
The H5815 elliptical trainer is equipped with a total of 22 programs: 12 built-in, 4 user, HRC, WATT and Recovery.
