GM-2 knuckle guards serve as additional protection of the knuckles from injury during a punch and at the same time allow the use of regular wraps. The sleeves are filled with a combination of polyester foam and gel, and this mixture absorbs part of the punch energy. The surface of the sleeves has a pleasant smooth finish, which prevents abrasion of the protected skin.
The GM-2 package includes elastic boxing wraps that attach to the sleeves using loops. The wrist wraps wrap around the wrist in the same way as regular wraps, fixing the sleeves in place.

Both the sleeves and belts are machine washable, allowing hygienic use.
