The NILS NBL6092 badminton shuttlecock has an EVA base and a nylon skirt. Nylon shuttlecocks have a longer lifespan than feather shuttlecocks. The base is larger than the standard size. This makes the game easier and its colored surface more visible. The shuttlecock is balanced for high flight control.
An LED module powered by a button battery is built into the base. The illuminated basket then allows play even after dark.
The package also includes a foam ball with a diameter of 45 millimeters. The ball is lighter and "lazier" than a classic shuttlecock and offers the option of play even for the youngest players.
